One of the trucks that were involved in a collision on the South Bound carriageway of the M1 Motorway in the Early hours of Monday morning. It took over two hours to extract the casualty from the cab of the truck, while the other driver was removed with minor injuries to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. Two Fire units from Drogheda and Two Fire Units from Dunleer attended the scene, as well as a fire appliance from Dundalk to give fire cover in Drogheda..The lorry after colliding with the front lorry veered through he central reservation and stopped short of the northbound carriageway, by the safety barriers...Photo: Fran Caffrey/
