MV "Arklow Raider" aground at the mouth of the river boyne, Attempts to refloat the 4505 Tonnes General Cargo Vessel at high tide this morning were unsucessfull after the vessel ran aground in high winds topping force 8 while it was leaving Drogheda Port with a cargo of Cement on Tuesday Night. Drogheda Port Companys MV Boyne Protector" assisted in trying to  refloat the vessel, as 3 meter seas crashed into the side pushine the vessel further north towards the beach at Baltray.
