Shortly before 4.30 am Drogheda Fire service received a call to a serious house ire in the moneymore estate in Drogheda, One unit was redirected from a car fire not far from where the fire was reported and was backed up by a second fire apliance, The fire service tacklet the blase which gutted the down stairs part of the house and badly smoke damaged the up stairs. The two occupants a mother and her daughter were rescued from the house after the daughter jumped from the upstairs window into neighbours hands and the mother was taken out by the fire service. The two occupants were removed to Our lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda as well as a fire service personel with smoke inhalation. A third fire Appliance from Dunleer were called into the scene..Garda sealed off the area pending techinical examination this morning..Photo: Newsfile/Fran Caffrey.
